Through midweek, monsoonal moisture will bring showers and thunderstorms across the West, with flash flood risks in the Southwest early in the week and into Idaho and southwest Montana by Wednesday. Heavy rain from Colorado to Arkansas may also cause flooding, especially in urban areas. In the Northwest, a heat wave continues Monday and Tuesday with highs near 100°F in Washington and Oregon, posing dangerous conditions with little nighttime relief. Meanwhile, east of the Rockies, much cooler-than-normal temperatures will settle in, with record lows possible in the Midwest and Great Lakes and some areas only reaching the 60s and 70s during the day. Lake-effect showers near the Great Lakes will diminish by midweek.

WYOMING

Showers are possible through the day along with isolated thunderstorm potential, mainly along and West of the Divide, with seasonable temperatures everywhere. Smoke from nearby wildfires is still expected across much of the area today!

Have a fantastic day.
