A low-pressure system is bringing rain and gusty winds to the Northeast today, with a few thunderstorms possible. Cooler and breezy weather will follow across the eastern U.S. tonight before a quick warm-up Tuesday.

Across the northern states, windy and colder conditions will spread from the Plains into the Great Lakes and Midwest through midweek, with rain and mountain snow tapering off in the Rockies.

Meanwhile, the southern Plains will see unseasonably warm weather, with highs in the 80s and 90s—10 to 20 degrees above normal. Dry conditions continue for the Southwest and Four Corners, while showers gradually fade across Florida.

WYOMING

Gusty winds continue into today, decreasing by this evening. High temperatures will be in the mid-40s to mid-50s. A few rain/snow showers are around through the morning, but end by about noon.

Have a fantastic day.
