Heavy Rain in the Pacific Northwest (Friday–Saturday):
An atmospheric river will bring periods of heavy rain to parts of Washington and Oregon late Friday into early Saturday. The event isn’t expected to last long, so rainfall totals should be limited and flooding risks remain low.
Halloween (Trick-or-Treat Forecast):
Most of the Lower 48 will stay dry for Halloween evening. Rain may impact parts of:
- The Pacific Northwest
- The northern and central Appalachians
- The Upper Midwest into the Great Lakes
Otherwise, expect good weather for trick-or-treating across much of the country.
Eastern U.S. Weather System:
A strong low-pressure system moving through New England will bring widespread rain to the region Friday. Flooding concerns are minimal due to ongoing drought and dry soils, though brief urban flooding is possible in areas where leaves may block drainage systems.
Rain for the Southeast & Ohio Valley:
From late Saturday through Monday, scattered showers will develop from the Ohio Valley into the Southeast as a weak low-pressure system and a few fronts move through.
Temperature Outlook:
- Cooler: From the Plains to the East Coast, temperatures will be below average with cool air following the eastern storm system. Lake-effect precipitation is possible around the Great Lakes.
- Warmer: From the Rockies to the West Coast, expect above-average temperatures and mainly dry conditions. A few record highs could occur Monday along the Colorado Front Range.

WYOMING

🎃 Nothing too spooky in the forecast for today. It will be a bit cooler east of the Divide. Otherwise, today is similar to yesterday, with no precipitation expected and some passing clouds. Gusty winds (20 to 30 mph) occur west of the Divide this afternoon.

Have a fantastic day.
