Unsettled weather returns to the Pacific Northwest and Northern California today, with heavy rain and strong winds expected from Tuesday into Wednesday. Drivers in southwest Oregon and along the northern California coast should be prepared for gusty winds and slick roads.

Across the High Plains, expect dry and breezy conditions through midweek, with fire danger possible in parts of Texas and the southern Plains. Some areas in the Texas Panhandle and northwest Texas could even see record high temperatures.

Farther east, light rain and scattered showers will move through the Great Lakes, New York, and the Northeast late Tuesday into Wednesday. Snow showers are possible in the higher elevations of the northern Appalachians early Tuesday.

WYOMING

Seasonable temperatures are in store today with breezy winds across portions of the area. Multiple chances (30-60%) for high elevation snow and low elevation rain across western WY Tuesday onward.

Have a fantastic day.
