An upper ridge over the Central U.S. will continue to stream warm southerly air into the Great Plains today and gradually shift eastward over the next few days. Temperatures in the 80s and 90s will represent 20–30-degree warm anomalies over parts of the Central/Southern Plains for this time of year.

WYOMING

One more day of warm and windy conditions, with highs today in the 60s and 70s. A strong late-season cold front races through tonight, bringing widespread snow east of the divide Thursday and Thursday night.

A winter storm races through the region starting tonight and continuing through early Friday. Warnings and Advisories have been issued for considerable snow accumulation along with gusty north winds.

Isolated thunderstorms could develop late Thursday afternoon and last into the evening hours. Hail could occur with the strongest storms.
