Weather Report – 01/10/2025 and into the Weekend
A winter storm will continue to bring accumulating snow from eastern Oklahoma through the Mid-South and southern Appalachians, and ice accumulation across southern Arkansas through parts of the Southeast through Saturday morning. We need everyone to continue watching your speed through these trouble spots, slow down on ice and snow.

After a brief break, winds will be picking up once again today and tonight. Expect strong winds in the wind prone areas today, but wind speeds will increase and become more widespread after sunset. New High Wind Watches have been issued for the I-25 corridor and central/northern Carbon County for late this afternoon through early Saturday. Be prepared for strong winds and areas of blowing snow. Always slow down or pull over somewhere safe in any of these bad areas.

Here is a look at the three-day forecast showing more snow coming from the northwest.

Please remember, if you ever shut down due to weather or other delays, please make sure you notify dispatch. If you are reading this last sentence, send me a message on Samsara stating “Adam, I love safety!” and I will contact you for a little surprise.
